Fresh Water Log Storage
Harken manages over 400 acres of fresh water log storage between New Westminster and Haney on the Fraser River and along the Pitt River to Pitt Lake. We safely store approximately 4500 sections of logs in over 50 locations.
The fresh water protects logs from the destructive Teredo worm, a wood boring worm that thrives in salt water. For more information on this threat, click

In addition to our extensive fresh water storage facilities, we have recently opened storage facilities in the
Point Grey flats area at the mouth of the Fraser River. Alleys 9, 10 and 13 are all inside alleys which provide safe storage for approximately 500 sections of logs. View a picture of this area
